SwissBioLab was born from an observation. The observation of "patented complexes" with 18 vague active ingredients, dosed at 200 mg to look good on the label. Of marketing that talks about everything except the molecules. Of supplements that do not keep their promises.
It all started with a frustration in the pharmacy
You are likely familiar with this scene. You walk into a pharmacy and ask for a supplement to help you sleep better, for digestion, or to regain energy. The advisor brings out a box. You turn over the packaging. You read:
"Patented Vital-Pro® Complex 200 mg - 18 synergistic active ingredients selected for their targeted action."
You look for the details. No dosage per active ingredient. Not a single study cited. And you pay €39 for 30 capsules.
It was at that exact moment that the idea for Alpx was born. We told ourselves there were two options: continue to lament the situation in the aisle, or create a supplement that tells the truth on its label.
We chose the second.
Made in Valais, Not by Chance
When we decided to manufacture in Switzerland, it was not for the flag. It was for three concrete reasons:
- The water of Leukerbad. We are in Valais, at an altitude of 1411 meters. The local thermal springs emerge from the rock at 51°C, naturally filtered by 40 years of alpine percolation. This water is a raw material in its own right. When you manufacture a tablet, what you put in it matters as much as what you leave out.
- Swiss GMP standards. In Switzerland, manufacturing a food supplement is almost like manufacturing a medicine. Testing of each batch, complete traceability, disposal of non-compliant products. No cutting corners. No approximations.
- The culture of precision. Without resorting to clichés, when you work with production technicians trained to a precision of 0.01 mg, the difference is felt in the final product.
Our industrial partner in Leukerbad also manufactures for regulated pharmaceutical brands. The same process, the same controls, the same rigor. The only difference is what appears on the label.

You open a box of Alpx, you turn it over. You see the full name of each active ingredient. You see its exact dosage in milligrams. You see its galenic form (citrate, bisglycinate, standardized extract X%). No "patented complex." No "exclusive blend." No "secret formula."

2. Swiss Manufacturing, European Traceability
Each batch is manufactured in Leukerbad under GMP standards. Each batch receives a serial number, and behind this number, we keep for 10 years: the exact sourcing of raw materials, analysis dates, quality control reports, and the expiration date.
You can call us with your batch number, and we can retrieve its history in 5 minutes. This is our internal standard - and it is the very foundation of GMP.
3. EFSA Claims Verbatim, Without Exception
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is the European scientific authority that validates health claims on food supplements. When we state "Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue," this is the exact wording authorized by the EFSA, not a marketing invention.
When you read our labels or our product sheets, you are reading EFSA verbatim. No medical claims, no mentions such as "cures," "treats," or "heals." Only the scientifically validated facts.
